About the role

BrightMart Solutions is modernizing its operations data pipeline. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls and monitoring into analytics workflows that serve multiple ops teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security policies for data ingestion, transformation, and storage layers.
• Integrate threat detection and alerting into real‑time analytics streams.
• Conduct risk assessments on third‑party data connectors and cloud services.
• Collaborate with data engineers to harden pipeline code and CI/CD processes.
• Document security architecture and provide guidance to ops stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience securing data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Proficiency with Python for scripting security checks.
• Strong Linux system administration and hardening knowledge.
• Understanding of network security, IAM, and encryption best practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud security tools (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel).
• Experience with SIEM integration for operational telemetry.
