About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a critical product and needs a Database Administrator to boost test automation coverage. You will partner with QA engineers to design data‑driven test frameworks that lower regression risk before launch.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain test databases mirroring production schemas.
• Automate data provisioning, refresh, and cleanup for CI pipelines.
• Collaborate on test case design to ensure realistic data scenarios.
• Monitor database performance during automated test runs and tune queries.
• Document data models and test data generation scripts.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL administration.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) for data automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot data‑related test failures quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerized databases (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with data masking and synthetic data generation.
