About the role
LumenWorks is building a robust data pipeline and analytics platform for its operations teams. We need a DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers real‑time data flows and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable pipelines on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement CI/CD workflows to automate code, container, and infrastructure releases
- Monitor performance, ensure reliability, and troubleshoot pipeline issues
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to align infrastructure with analytics needs
- Document processes and create runbooks for operations hand‑off
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda)
- Proficient in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
- Solid scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash)
- Understanding of data pipeline concepts and monitoring tools
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with streaming platforms like Kafka or Kinesis
- Background in analytics or data engineering workflows
