About the role

Vertex Analytics is building a robust data pipeline to empower operations teams with real‑time analytics. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and automate the end‑to‑end workflow that ingests, processes, and visualizes operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable CI/CD pipelines for data processing services.
• Containerize ETL jobs using Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
• Integrate AWS services (S3, Lambda, Redshift) for storage and compute.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipeline health.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless hand‑off.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Hands‑on CI/CD automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash) for pipeline tasks.
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with streaming platforms such as Kinesis or Kafka.
• Knowledge of monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
