About the role

CloudWave Digital is modernizing a legacy production platform with a strict zero‑downtime requirement. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and validate the migration strategy while keeping the existing services fully operational.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a blue‑green deployment pipeline using CI/CD tools.
• Containerize legacy services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning on AWS with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and rollback mechanisms to guarantee zero‑downtime.
• Collaborate with developers to refactor build scripts and improve release velocity.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proficient in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment patterns.

Nice to have

• Terraform or CloudFormation scripting.
• Experience with legacy monolith migration.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
