About the role

Ridgeline Software is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a full stack web developer who can quickly diagnose bottlenecks, refactor code, and implement robust patterns to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing React front‑ends for rendering inefficiencies and implement lazy loading, code‑splitting, and memoization.
• Redesign NodeJS APIs to improve response times, add caching layers, and enforce strict error handling.
• Collaborate with QA to create automated performance tests and monitor key metrics.
• Document changes and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions for the internal team.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in React, NodeJS, JavaScript, and MongoDB.
• Proven experience optimizing full‑stack applications for speed and stability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time schedule.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
