About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and accelerate platform releases. We need a GraphQL API Developer who can design, implement, and integrate GraphQL services that fit into our automated deployment workflow. The role focuses on building robust schema, resolver logic, and seamless interaction with existing REST endpoints while supporting rapid iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop GraphQL schemas and resolvers for new and existing services
• Integrate GraphQL endpoints into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Collaborate with DevOps to create automated tests and deployment scripts
• Optimize query performance and ensure security best practices
• Document API contracts and assist the team in migration from REST where applicable

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Proficiency with React for client‑side query handling
• NodeJS backend development expertise
• Understanding of REST API integration and transformation
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling and platform automation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes environments
• Experience with schema stitching or federation
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for GraphQL
