About the role

TechFlow Inc is expanding its analytics backbone for operations teams. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune data pipelines that feed real‑time insights. The contract will focus on building scalable microservice components that ingest, transform, and expose data for downstream analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop Java‑based microservices for data ingestion and processing
• Integrate with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis) and batch sources
• Implement RESTful APIs to expose processed metrics to analytics dashboards
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with data engineers and ops to optimize pipeline latency and cost

Must-have skills

• Strong Java programming experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building microservices
• Understanding of data pipeline patterns and streaming technologies
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) for data processing
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases used in analytics
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
