About the role

LumenWorks is modernizing its operations data pipeline to deliver real‑time analytics for internal teams. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and optimize micro‑service components that ingest, transform, and expose operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable Java micro‑services using Spring Boot
• Design data ingestion flows from diverse sources into a central lake
• Implement streaming transformations and batch jobs for analytics enablement
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define APIs and data contracts
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests; ensure CI/CD compliance

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful micro‑service patterns
• Hands‑on knowledge of data pipelines, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and analytics tooling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling
