About the role

Cascade Apps is creating a robust data pipeline and analytics layer for operations teams. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and optimize services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build microservice APIs using Spring Boot
• Develop streaming ingest jobs to pull data from diverse sources
• Implement data validation and enrichment logic
• Collaborate with analytics engineers to expose clean datasets
• Write unit and integration tests and ensure CI coverage
• Document service contracts and operational runbooks

Must-have skills

• Strong Java programming experience
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices
• Understanding of data pipelines, messaging queues, and ETL concepts

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or Pulsar
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
