Java Developer – Service Reliability Delivery

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform deployment. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that accelerate release cycles while maintaining quality.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Develop reusable Java libraries for deployment orchestration
• Integrate Spring Boot microservices into automated testing and release pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to ensure smooth hand‑offs and rollback mechanisms
• Document automation processes and create runbooks for the team

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building microservice architectures
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and scripting (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bash)
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and basic cloud concepts

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or Helm charts
• Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions like Prometheus or Grafana
