About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a project‑based effort to build a robust data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Java Developer who can design, implement, and optimize micro‑service components that ingest, transform, and expose operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot
• Create RESTful APIs for data ingestion and analytics consumption
• Implement data validation, enrichment, and error‑handling pipelines
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define schema and performance metrics
• Write unit and integration tests, and ensure CI/CD readiness

Must-have skills

• Strong Java programming experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and microservice patterns
• Understanding of data streaming or batch processing concepts
• Experience with REST API design and JSON handling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kafka, Flink, or similar streaming platforms
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP) for deployment
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
