.NET Core Developer Needed for Enterprise Microservices Refactor

About the role

NexGen Media is modernizing its launch workflow by boosting test automation. We need a .NET Core Developer to design and expand automated regression suites, ensuring stability before each release.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement .NET Core test frameworks for UI and API layers
• Integrate Azure DevOps pipelines to run automated suites on every build
• Identify flaky tests, refactor or replace them to improve reliability
• Collaborate with QA and product owners to define coverage priorities
• Document test scenarios and maintain a living test library

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with .NET Core and C#
• Hands‑on Azure services (DevOps, Pipelines, Functions)
• Proven track record building scalable test automation
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and regression risk mitigation

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright or similar UI tools
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for test environments
• Familiarity with performance testing frameworks
