About the role

Northbay Systems is modernizing its customer‑facing services. We need a .NET Core Developer to lead a performance and reliability overhaul, ensuring low latency and high uptime for critical APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing .NET Core services for speed and stability
• Implement async patterns, caching, and connection pooling
• Design and enforce robust logging and monitoring in Azure
• Collaborate with QA to create performance benchmarks
• Document architectural changes and guide junior developers

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with .NET Core and C#
• Proficiency in Azure services (App Service, Functions, Monitor)
• Solid understanding of performance profiling and optimization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration
• Familiarity with micro‑service patterns
• Background in cloud‑native security best practices
