About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a new micro‑service to handle real‑time data ingestion. We need a Node.js developer who can design, build, and ship a robust API quickly, while collaborating with a small remote team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful endpoints using Express
• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript code adhering to best practices
• Integrate with third‑party services and databases
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Document API specifications for internal use

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on building and consuming REST APIs
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
