PHP Developer – Customer-Facing System Integration

About the role

BrightMart Solutions is accelerating its release cadence through a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a PHP Developer who can embed automation into our existing Laravel stack, ensuring each commit flows smoothly to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for Laravel applications
• Automate environment provisioning and database migrations with Docker and Terraform
• Integrate unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests into the release workflow
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and optimize build times
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to align automation with quality gates

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP experience with Laravel framework
• Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Proficiency in MySQL schema design and query optimization
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and basic IaC concepts

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Background in automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest)
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
