About the role

DataPro Services is expanding its web platform and needs a focused PHP Developer to enhance core features. You will work on a key module that processes client data, ensuring performance and reliability while collaborating with a small agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP codebases using Laravel framework
• Design, query, and optimise MySQL databases
• Implement API endpoints and integrate third‑party services
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews
• Participate in sprint planning and deliverables tracking

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of PHP development experience
• Proficiency with Laravel and MVC architecture
• Strong MySQL query writing and schema design
• Understanding of RESTful API principles
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or containerisation
• Familiarity with front‑end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
