PHP Developer – Secure System Integration

About the role

We are modernizing a high‑traffic legacy production platform and need a PHP Developer who can implement changes without any service interruption. You will work closely with our DevOps and QA teams to refactor core services, introduce modern coding standards, and ensure seamless rollouts.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor legacy PHP codebases to use Laravel best practices
• Design and implement database schema migrations for MySQL with zero‑downtime strategies
• Write automated tests and integrate them into our CI pipeline
• Collaborate on feature design, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues in real time

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
• Deep experience with MySQL performance tuning and migrations
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment patterns
• Ability to write clean, testable code and unit tests

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments
• Experience with message queues or event‑driven architectures
• Knowledge of modern front‑end integration (Vue/React)
