About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a critical integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and several internal APIs. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can ensure data reliability, performance, and seamless cross‑system sync.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas that support real‑time billing and CRM data flows
• Implement replication and failover strategies for high availability during API exchanges
• Write and optimize stored procedures and triggers for data transformation between systems
• Monitor query performance and tune indexes to meet integration latency targets
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts for internal APIs

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Strong SQL scripting, backup/restore, and replication expertise
• Experience integrating databases with billing or CRM platforms
• Proficiency in Linux command line and basic networking concepts

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL for hybrid data stores
• Knowledge of containerized database deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
