About the role

Harbor Softworks is orchestrating a critical integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can ensure data reliability while bridging these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement replication strategies for real‑time billing data sync
• Optimize query performance across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL stores used by the CRM layer
• Develop stored procedures and functions to translate API payloads into normalized tables
• Monitor and troubleshoot cross‑database latency during peak transaction windows
• Document schema changes and integration touchpoints for future developers

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL clusters in production
• Hands‑on experience with data migration between PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL
• Strong SQL tuning, indexing, and partitioning expertise
• Familiarity with RESTful API data flows and JSON handling

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud‑native database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database schema versioning
