About the role

Northbay Systems is extending its B2B platform with a multi‑tenant feature set. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and test core services that isolate tenant data while preserving performance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable Django services for tenant isolation
• Develop secure REST APIs for internal and external consumption
• Integrate PostgreSQL schemas to support multi‑tenant data partitioning
• Write automated tests and contribute to CI pipelines
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to refine requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong Python and Django experience
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and data modeling
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerization
• Experience with async processing (Celery, Redis)
• Knowledge of AWS services for deployment
