About the role

We are building a robust data pipeline to empower operations teams with real‑time analytics. The Python Backend Developer will design, implement, and optimize services that ingest, transform, and expose data for downstream dashboards and reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable Python micro‑services using Django to process high‑volume operational data.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs that deliver clean, queryable data to analytics platforms.
• Integrate PostgreSQL schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and logging for production reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to refine pipeline requirements.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python expertise with Django framework.
• Proficient in building REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and ETL processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data services (AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
