About the role

NexGen Media is accelerating its release cadence through a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. As a QA Automation Engineer you will own test automation for the new PulseDeploy pipeline, ensuring each build is validated quickly and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain end‑to‑end Selenium test suites for the PulseDeploy CI/CD workflow.
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins pipelines, triggering on each pull request and nightly build.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop API validation scripts with Postman/Newman for micro‑service contracts.
• Monitor test flakiness, diagnose failures, and enforce test data hygiene.
• Produce weekly automation health reports and suggest optimizations for faster feedback loops.

Must-have skills

• 3+ years experience in Selenium/WebDriver automation.
• Proficiency with JavaScript (Node.js) for test scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and API testing.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test code and documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
