About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute test strategies that guarantee zero‑downtime releases while the system is modernized.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive manual and automated test plans for core services
• Implement Selenium test suites to cover regression, smoke, and performance scenarios
• Collaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria and resolve defects quickly
• Monitor release pipelines and validate zero‑downtime deployment scripts
• Document test results and maintain traceability matrices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in functional and regression testing
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release verification
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in legacy system modernization projects
