About the role

We are building a data pipeline that feeds real‑time analytics to operations teams. The REST API Developer will design, implement, and maintain high‑performance endpoints that ingest, transform, and expose operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document secure RESTful services using NodeJS
• Integrate with PostgreSQL for scalable data storage and retrieval
• Optimize API performance for large‑volume data streams
• Collaborate with data engineers to define schemas and ingestion patterns
• Implement monitoring, logging, and error‑handling mechanisms

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficient JavaScript programming
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL design and query optimization
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and analytics enablement

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for API deployment
