REST API Developer Needed for Partner API Handshake

About the role

We are launching an integration hub that will synchronize billing, CRM, and internal services. The REST API Developer will design, implement, and document high‑performance endpoints that enable seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build RESTful APIs using NodeJS and JavaScript
• Integrate PostgreSQL data stores with external billing and CRM platforms
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with product owners to translate integration requirements into technical specs
• Optimize API performance and monitor latency

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and queries
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing systems (e.g., Stripe, Recurly)
• Experience integrating popular CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Knowledge of Docker or containerized deployment
