About the role

Pinecrest Systems is preparing a major app store launch and needs an Android Developer to bridge mobile UI work with backend services. You will shape the client‑side architecture, ensure smooth data sync, and meet release quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement high‑performance Android features using Kotlin and Java
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle offline caching strategies
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts and error handling
• Write unit and UI tests to maintain code reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java proficiency
• Deep experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, and modern architecture components
• Understanding of REST API consumption and authentication flows
• Ability to debug performance issues on a range of devices

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
• Experience with CI/CD tools for Android
• Knowledge of app store submission guidelines
