About the role
BlueSky Ventures is launching a project‑based overhaul of performance and reliability for its customer‑facing services. The AWS Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and fine‑tune cloud architecture to meet strict SLAs while supporting rapid feature delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Assess current AWS workloads and identify bottlenecks
- Re‑architect services for high availability and auto‑scaling
- Implement infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform
- Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting pipelines
- Collaborate with developers to embed performance best practices
Must-have skills
- 5+ years managing AWS environments at scale
- Deep expertise in Docker containerization
- Strong DevOps mindset with CI/CD pipeline experience
- Proficient Linux administration and scripting

- Experience with serverless architectures
- Knowledge of chaos engineering tools
