Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Needed for Customer-Facing Disaster Recovery Build

About the role

BrightMart Solutions is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the cloud architecture that powers high‑traffic web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing AWS workloads and identify bottlenecks
• Re‑architect services for auto‑scaling, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Terraform
• Set up robust monitoring, alerting, and logging with CloudWatch and X‑Ray
• Collaborate with developers to containerize workloads using Docker and ECS/EKS

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC)
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration
• Strong DevOps mindset with infrastructure‑as‑code expertise
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless frameworks (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)
• Familiarity with security best practices (IAM, KMS)
