About the role
Pinecrest Systems is launching a critical product line and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to drive a test automation uplift. The focus is to embed automated regression suites into the release pipeline, cutting risk before each launch.
Key responsibilities
- Design and extend CI/CD pipelines to integrate Selenium and API test suites.
- Automate environment provisioning with Docker and Kubernetes for consistent test runs.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test coverage thresholds.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot flaky tests, and optimize execution time.
- Document best practices and handover guides for ongoing maintenance.
Must-have skills
- 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
- Deep experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for test orchestration.
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks.
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing integration.
- Knowledge of security scanning tools in pipelines.
- Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
