About the role

CloudWave Digital is seeking a senior Data Scientist to lead the development of advanced analytics solutions for a high‑impact client project. The role focuses on building predictive models, optimizing data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate machine‑learning models on large‑scale datasets.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to improve model performance.
• Create clear visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure reproducibility and scalability of analytical workflows.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in Python for data science, including libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, and TensorFlow.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs for data integration.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑ready predictive models.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and model evaluation techniques.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for model deployment.
• Knowledge of JavaScript for creating interactive data dashboards.
