About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its B2B SaaS product with a multi‑tenant feature set. We need a Database Administrator who can design, implement, and fine‑tune schemas that isolate tenant data while preserving performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Architect multi‑tenant database structures in PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL
• Implement automated provisioning and de‑provisioning of tenant databases
• Optimize queries and indexes for cross‑tenant workloads
• Set up monitoring, alerts, and backup strategies tailored to tenant isolation
• Collaborate with developers to embed data access patterns into the application code

Must-have skills

• Proven experience managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL in production
• Deep understanding of multi‑tenant architecture and data security
• Strong SQL scripting and performance tuning abilities
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database migrations

Nice to have

• Experience with containerized database deployments
• Knowledge of cloud‑native database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB)
