About the role

TechFlow Inc is accelerating its release cadence with a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a Database Administrator who can design, tune, and automate database pipelines to keep pace with rapid deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement automated schema migrations and rollbacks within CI/CD workflows
• Optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL performance for high‑throughput pipelines
• Develop monitoring dashboards and alerting for database health during releases
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to containerize database services
• Document automation scripts and best practices for the team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production
• Hands‑on experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar pipelines
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation tasks
• Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and security best practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
