About the role
NexGen Media is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the underlying infrastructure, ensuring fast response times and high availability.
Key responsibilities
- Audit existing pipelines and identify latency bottlenecks
- Build automated CI/CD workflows with robust testing stages
- Containerize legacy components and migrate them to Kubernetes
- Configure AWS services for auto‑scaling and fault tolerance
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident‑response runbooks
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Hands‑on scripting for automation and performance tuning
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Background in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana
- Familiarity with chaos engineering practices
