About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is revamping a legacy production platform with a strict zero‑downtime mandate. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and automate the migration while ensuring continuous availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines on AWS for automated testing and release.
• Implement blue‑green and canary deployments to achieve zero‑downtime cutovers.
• Monitor performance and reliability, tuning infrastructure for scale.
• Collaborate with developers to refactor legacy scripts into modern IaC.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of zero‑downtime deployment strategies.
• Hands‑on scripting and automation (Shell, Python, or similar).

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies.
• Familiarity with legacy monolithic to microservices migration.
