Senior DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure Setup Sprint

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and validate security controls across our AWS environment while keeping deployment pipelines agile.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing IaC and remediate misconfigurations in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Integrate automated security scans (e.g., Snyk, Trivy) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Enforce least‑privilege IAM policies and secret management best practices.
• Containerize legacy services, configure pod security standards, and set up network policies.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security checks without slowing releases.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS security services (GuardDuty, Config, IAM).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Hands‑on with infrastructure as code and security automation.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash/Python) for custom remediation.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty or CISA.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (PCI‑DSS, SOC2).
• Knowledge of service mesh security (Istio, Linkerd).
