About the role

Vertex Analytics is modernizing the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune container orchestration for a high‑throughput environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current deployment pipelines and identify bottlenecks
• Re‑architect services on Docker and Kubernetes for scalability
• Implement health checks, auto‑scaling, and resource quotas
• Collaborate with developers to containerize legacy components
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for production stability

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with Docker containerization
• Advanced Kubernetes administration (clusters, Helm, CRDs)
• Strong DevOps mindset and CI/CD automation experience

Nice to have

• Experience with Prometheus/Grafana observability stack
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
