About the role
Pinecrest Systems is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and fine‑tune the container orchestration layer that will power seamless data flow across these systems.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement Kubernetes clusters on cloud providers
- Containerize micro‑services with Docker and manage Helm charts
- Build CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments
- Ensure secure networking, secret management, and observability
- Collaborate with backend and integration engineers to troubleshoot issues
Must-have skills
- 5+ years managing Docker and Kubernetes in production
- Strong grasp of networking, service meshes, and storage in K8s
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo CD
- Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Istio or Linkerd service mesh
- Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure as code
- Background in billing or CRM system integrations
