About the role

Summit Digital is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a focused Frontend React Developer to redesign critical UI pathways, improve load times, and ensure a rock‑solid user experience across browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing React codebase for performance bottlenecks and refactor components.
• Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and memoization strategies.
• Integrate TypeScript for stronger type safety and maintainability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize data fetching and caching.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building production‑grade React applications.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Web Vitals).
• Proficiency in state management (Redux, Context API) and modern build pipelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Next.js or Gatsby for server‑side rendering.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with CI/CD integration for frontend deployments.
