About the role

NexGen Media is launching a new product line and needs a Full Stack Web Developer – Test Automation Uplift to enhance automated testing and cut regression risk before release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test automation frameworks using JavaScript.
• Build and maintain UI components in React that integrate with test suites.
• Develop backend services in NodeJS to support test data generation and reporting.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to identify high‑risk areas and prioritize coverage.
• Ensure CI pipelines trigger automated tests and produce clear metrics.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in React, NodeJS, JavaScript, and MongoDB.
• Experience creating robust test automation for web applications.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized test environments.
• Exposure to performance testing tools.
