About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and fortify the API layer against emerging threats while keeping performance optimal.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop secure GraphQL schemas for existing services
• Integrate authentication and authorization checks using industry‑standard protocols
• Audit and refactor resolvers to eliminate injection and data leakage risks
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce TLS, rate‑limiting, and logging standards
• Write unit and integration tests to validate security controls

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building production‑grade GraphQL APIs
• Strong knowledge of NodeJS and REST API patterns
• Experience securing APIs with OAuth2/JWT and OWASP best practices
• Proficiency in React for client‑side query handling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) security services
• Background in penetration testing or security audits
