About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is preparing a major app store release that requires tight alignment between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and implement the data layer that powers the upcoming mobile experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a GraphQL schema that integrates existing REST endpoints and new data sources
• Implement resolvers in NodeJS, ensuring performance and security for high‑traffic mobile calls
• Collaborate with React mobile teams to define query contracts and optimize payloads
• Write comprehensive tests and documentation for the API surface
• Set up CI pipelines for automated schema validation and deployment

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with GraphQL server development
• Proficiency in NodeJS and REST API integration
• Solid understanding of React data consumption patterns
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and unit tests

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Federation or similar schema stitching
• Experience with cloud functions or serverless deployments
