Senior Identity Access Management Specialist – Automated Threat Mitigation

About the role

TechFlow Inc is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. As an Identity Access Management Specialist you will lead the security redesign of the new PulseGuard module, ensuring seamless authentication while supporting high‑throughput traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RBAC policies for PulseGuard using AWS IAM and Azure AD integration.
• Automate secret rotation and credential vaulting with HashiCorp Vault in CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct latency‑focused access‑control testing and tune SAML/OIDC flows to meet sub‑200 ms response targets.
• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers to embed MFA and adaptive risk‑based authentication into load‑balanced services.
• Document security architecture diagrams and create runbooks for incident response specific to identity failures.
• Provide weekly performance reports highlighting authentication success rates and remediation actions.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in Identity & Access Management frameworks (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS IAM, Azure AD, and Google Cloud IAM.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) for automation of policy deployment.
• Strong knowledge of zero‑trust principles and MFA solutions.
• Experience integrating IAM with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP for auth‑flow fuzzing.
• Certification (CISSP, CCSP) or equivalent.
