About the role

BrightMart Solutions is revamping its legacy retail management suite to achieve zero‑downtime deployments. As a Senior iOS App Developer you will lead the migration of the existing iOS client to a modern architecture, ensuring seamless user experience while the backend is refactored. The project focuses on the new PulseSync Engine, a real‑time data layer that will replace the aging synchronization module.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a SwiftUI front‑end that consumes the PulseSync Engine REST endpoints.
• Migrate legacy Objective‑C codebase to Swift 6, adding protocol‑oriented patterns.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines in Bitrise for automated builds and zero‑downtime releases.
• Write comprehensive unit and UI tests with XCTest and Fastlane for nightly runs.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts that support live data streaming.
• Monitor performance metrics in Firebase Performance Monitoring and resolve regressions before each release.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of native iOS development with Swift.
• Deep experience with RESTful APIs and JSON handling.
• Proficiency in SwiftUI, Combine, and Core Data migrations.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Bitrise, Fastlane) for zero‑downtime deployments.
• Strong debugging skills using Instruments and Xcode console.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo iOS client.
• Experience in automated performance testing frameworks.
