About the role

Pinecrest Systems is enhancing its test automation suite to lower regression risk before product launches. We need a seasoned Java Developer to design, implement, and integrate automated tests that align with our microservices architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust Java‑based test frameworks using Spring Boot
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for core microservices
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to embed tests into CI pipelines
• Identify flaky tests, improve stability, and document best practices
• Provide mentorship to junior team members on automation techniques

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices patterns
• Proven track record in building test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Nice to have

• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber
• Understanding of performance testing for services
• Background in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
