About the role

CloudWave Digital is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and optimize back‑end services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Design data ingestion flows from diverse sources into a central lake
• Implement streaming and batch processing pipelines for analytics readiness
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to define API contracts
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure reliability
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune services in a cloud environment

Must-have skills

• Strong Java expertise (5+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful microservice architecture
• Experience building data pipelines or streaming solutions

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of big‑data tools such as Kafka or Flink
