Senior Microservices Architect Needed for Cloud-Native Service Mesh Deployment

About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform provisioning. We need a Microservices Architect to design, implement, and fine‑tune the service mesh that powers rapid, reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and document microservice boundaries for new release automation
• Build reusable Docker images and Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and versioning into CI pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to streamline infrastructure as code
• Mentor team members on best practices for service resilience and observability

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java ecosystems
• Hands‑on expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong understanding of API design, event‑driven communication, and cloud‑native patterns

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus/Grafana
