About the role

Northbay Systems is launching an integration project that will connect its billing platform, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and optimize the data layer that will power seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design schema and indexing strategies for high‑throughput transactional data.
• Develop ETL pipelines to sync billing records with CRM entities.
• Implement aggregation pipelines for real‑time reporting dashboards.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to expose MongoDB‑backed services via Node.js APIs.
• Ensure data security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with MongoDB architecture, sharding, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Node.js and RESTful API design.
• Strong understanding of data modeling for billing and CRM domains.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud‑hosted MongoDB services (Atlas, AWS DocumentDB).
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
