About the role

We are preparing a high‑traffic mobile app store release and need a PostgreSQL Administrator to align our database layer with backend services. You will ensure data integrity, performance, and seamless integration for the upcoming launch.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement schema changes to support new mobile features
• Optimize queries and indexes for low‑latency API responses
• Set up and maintain replication and failover strategies
• Collaborate with backend engineers to tune connection pooling
• Monitor health metrics and resolve incidents quickly

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production
• Strong SQL tuning and performance debugging
• Experience with backup, recovery, and high‑availability setups
• Familiarity with Linux command line and scripting

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL ecosystems
• Exposure to container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Understanding of mobile backend patterns and API rate limiting
