About the role

Northbay Systems is launching an integration project linking billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune the data layer that will power seamless data flow across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure PostgreSQL clusters for high‑availability and low‑latency access
• Develop ETL pipelines that sync data between PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL sources
• Optimize queries and indexes for billing and CRM workloads
• Implement security policies, role‑based access, and audit logging
• Collaborate with API developers to ensure data contracts are reliable

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Deep knowledge of replication, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Experience integrating PostgreSQL with MongoDB and MySQL
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of billing systems and CRM data models
